tradeagrape connects wine lovers with other wine lovers to trade wines. Toi focused on making what could be an arduous process easy and beautiful.

BRANDING

We presented several different iterations, all of which had the same common denominator: a grape cluster used as an abstract representation of the interaction experienced when using the tradeagrape application. What we ended up with was a textured wine stain that creates a venn diagram, speaking to the relationship between the app’s users

BRAINSTORMING & SKETCHING

This is the most essential part of our design process. We sketch on paper to explore as many ideas as we can before we land on effective ways to solve the needs of both the user and our client. We think through every option and if we find one that works better than the rest, we then move on to polish it.

WIREFRAMING

Having defined the architecture and behavior of all the app’s components, we start converting our sketches intolo-fi digital versions that will be used as the skeleton of the app. Then, we craft an interactive prototype that enables us to test, change, and validate ideas quickly.

VISUAL DESIGN

Thoroughly thought out interaction design makes the product understandable and easy to use. But a visual layer delights people and helps keep them engaged. We approach this phase with obsessive attention to each and every pixel.
